With Buckley winning, Bala level and Glantraeth 3-1 down at the half-time interval it looked odds-on Glan losing more ground at the top of the table but what a turnaround we got as Bala lost, Llandyrnog fought back to snatch two points off Buckley and Glan staged a remarkable second half recovery to take all three points at Queens Park.
Things looked good for the Bodorgan boys as they took the lead on 22 minutes as a fine through ball from Richard F Owen found Rob Williams whose lay off was perfect for Richard Owen to fire a powerful left-footer past home keeper David Littleford.
Paul Brunt always looked a threat for the home side on the right and when his shot was half saved on 31 minutes substitute Ian Matthias followed up to score and it was the same combination six minutes later that gave Queens Park the lead with Matthias again the scorer.
It looked ominous for Glan on 41 minutes as Danny Roberts curled a great free kick around the defensive wall and just inside a post to give the Wrexham side a two goal cushion.
Rarely can Glantraeth be accused of lying down and accepting defeat and they set about recovering the situation with real purpose after the break with Owen pulling a goal back on the hour mark then completing his hat-trick from the penalty spot seven minutes later following a foul on Paul Rowlands and the comeback was complete on 69 minutes as Roberts scored the winner.
