Four first half goals boosted the Bodorgan boys and ended Llandudno Town's title hopes in the Huws Gray Fitlock Aliance League. In a niggling match that saw both sides finish with ten men and amass seven bookings. And with other scores going for them Glantraeth's destiny is now in their own hands. Richard Hughes headed home a Rob Williams cross to break the deadlock on 18 minutes after the visiting goal survived several scares. Mark Thomas netted number two on 25 minutes and the hosts were cruising when Hughes scored his second on the half hour. Rob Williams got on the scoresheet eight minutes before the break when keeper Sion Powell allowed his shot to squirm under his body. Warren Gibbs received his marching orders for pulling back Lee Thomas on 53 minutes, and Alun Roberts gave the visitors hope with a 30 yard free kick five minutes later. Ben Powell saw red for swearing at a linesman on the hour, and Nigel Barry chipped onto the post in Glantraeth's only threat of the second period. Sub Deiniol Graham set up a nailbiting final ten minutes with a solo strike but it was too little to late as Glantraeth held on to take the points.
