Cymru Alliance League
4 February 2006
Queens Park 0 Glantraeth 0

An inspired keeper and the woodwork conspired to deny Glantraeth winning the points to maintain their Huws Gray-Fitlock Cymru Alliance challenge at Queens Stadium today. The home custodian Dave Littleford played out of his skin to pull off superb saves from Craig Roberts and Kevin Roberts while one against Nigel Barry was simply amazing and generally he got in the way of everything that was thrown at him from the Glantraeth attack. Meanwhile Craig Roberts hit the bar twice and Simon Kay struck the upright with a thunderous effort. Glantraeth who had stand in keeper Neil Hughes playing only his third game of the campaign saw him pull off two excellent saves when the hosts threatened. The result means that Glantraeth slip slightly down to fourth spot with a number of games in hand on the leading pack of Guilsfield, Llandudno and Buckley Town.
