This afternoon's game with Queens Park was sensationally abandoned just past the hour mark when the visitors had been reduced to only six players. The Wrexham based side had arrived late, almost half-an-hour after the scheduled 2 pm start, with only nine players. Despite that they led until the 28th minute through a goal from Matty Philips but Glantraeth went on to lead 6-1 at half-time through goals from Nigel Barry, Richard Owen (2), Craig Roberts, Gareth Owen and a great strike from Rob Williams. Gareth Owen made it seven after the break only for the match to be called off on 61 mins when Ian Mathias was dismissed for violent conduct quickly followed by Mark Roberts and Lee Duckett for foul and abusive language. With Queens Park now having only six players the referee had no choice but to abandon the game. League officials could not comment on how the fixture will now be resolved until the referee's report has been studied by the league management committee.
